So what is mad music.co.uk about ??

Well it all started in 90s when we was having a clear out, ready to move into our new house, when I stumbles across my partners 7" records, he and his mate use to run a local Dj and play at any Kids parties.

Some of his 7" records where quit old, but also he had a lot of novelties record's witch I didn't remember but then again I was into 80s pop music then. I came across some of these weird 7" track and thought bloody hell I never herd any of these ? So we dug up the Old Gramophone "Kidding" Record player and started to listen to then, and boy where those song naff or what, It just made me wonder how the hell they mad it into the charts.

I my self love the Old 60s / 70s and 80s pop music but soon as I heard some of these 60s/ 70s/ 80s one hit wonder's, I couldn't help laughing and thinking how crap can these be !

I had this idea of music web site, where I would like to shear all these 7" records to the Public, after some searches I realize that most of then you Cant even find on the web ? So I Came up with Mad Music.com

Soon as we settled down into our new house we decided to linked the PC to the Record Player and Spent few months recording all these songs onto the PC it was a lot of work. Believe me I don't think I would like to go down that road again.

In the midd 90s, After server attempts to find a Good Provider we managed to find one and said right left have a go and see how it goes? If it turns out crap well noting to lose, but to my Amazement the site and picked up and Gone from strength to strength, and it's all down to you guys visiting and listening, I had such good Feedback about this site.

Some of the song that you will be hearing are from Tapes / 7"Vinyl / video's / CDs', So please remember I have recorded these files as MP3 16kbit's 11,625Hz Mono these File are low quality, it so that I can put a lot of songs onto this site I hope you do understand.. So if you're looking for Hi Quality I'm sorry to disappoint you also the track have been Edited down for Copyright lawless. Optimized for 800 x 600 Internet Explorer 5 or later/ Netscape 6 or late

About the Songs
The songs your going to here are mostly what I have in my collection or what we have found or other people past onto me. Some of them we have found/ or from old radio shows and even from those 12" / 7" records ?. All of songs your about to here have been cut down and recorded at 16k mono so please don't expect HI FI stereo.

Please note that this Problem Is to do with Norton internet security, I like to point out that the site is working 100% and the link are working, but dew to some People HOT linking to the song's we had to take some action to stop this so this is why your getting 403 error.
